School Council

The Holly Fair Kick-Off Meeting will be held this Tuesday Oct. 23 at 7pm in the Bayview School Library. If you are available and interested in being on the organizing committee, please come to the meeting.  Your input is needed regarding the finer details of running the craft room, cookie decorating, silent auction, raffle baskets, Carnival Games, Reindeer Café, Holly Mall, and more.  This will be the first of several meetings leading up to the Holly Fair, which will be held Saturday Dec. 1st @ 9am-12pm.  

School Council meeting scheduled for the 17th October has been postponed to next week Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at 6:30. We apologize for the short notice and hope to see you there. Agenda Link Here

The Bayview School Council is an advisory body made up of parent volunteers who work together with the principal and a teacher representative to improve student achievement and enhance the accountability of the education system to parents.  This may include promoting open debate on issues, or supporting and helping to fund school programs and events.

Parental involvement with School Council is essential for ensuring that Bayview Public School remains a vibrant and enriching environment for our children.  Involvement in Council may mean simply attending the monthly meetings, joining one of the Council committees, or helping with one of the many Council-sponsored events or fundraising activities.
