Programs run from one night to 10 weeks; many are offered twice a year. We also provide one to two-hour external parenting workshops to groups and organizations including School Councils.

Bookmobile
Did you know that an Ottawa Public Library Bookmobile visits the Bayview P.S. parking lot?o
The Ottawa Public Library bookmobile parks at Bayview School on Wednesdays from 5:15-8:15pm. This school year, the mini bookmobile will be the vehicle on site at this time – this smaller vehicle has popular books, audiobooks, DVDs and games on board in French and English. You can check out or return material on board, as well as pick up items requested online, and get help from the knowledgeable staff on board with homework or for book recommendations!
Later this autumn, the mini bookmobile will also have free Wi-Fi and Chromebooks on board for use on the vehicle. Don’t have a library card, or haven’t used your card in a while? Check out the OPL website and bring the required photo ID and proof of address to the mini bookmobile to obtain a membership for yourself or your kids. For more information, or to obtain children’s registration kits for your students, call us at 613-580-2424 x32629 or email us at Bookmobile@BiblioOttawaLibrary.ca
